Visit to Stuttgart, Germany

My trip to Germany was very short. Stuttgart is home to four separate U.S. bases. The meetings I attended were on the base called Kelly Barracks. I had lunch at the restaurant on the left. It was traditional German food with good Paulaner beer. This avenue in downtown Stuttgart reminded me of Santa Montica in L.A. with trees. It was Sunday so none of the shops were opened. Mercedes and Porche car factories were close by but I didn't have time to check them out.

The base is outside of Stuttgart and surrounded by forests. This small village had a festival parade with the locals dressed in bright costumes. I thought you would get a kick out of the house.
