by moberst57 So here are the pictures from my latest visit to Bahrain and JC's and my anniversary trip to Dubai. It was all pretty amazing, for sure. We had perfect weather and spent most our time in Dubai on the beach (with the camels). It was totally relaxing and just what we needed. Back in Bahrain, we spent a couple of days at the rug shops, had some fantastic local food and got ready for our trips back home. JC and I left on Sunday the 16th but didnt get to travel together. He went to a conference up north, but then he scheduled a meeting with his boss down here in DC and actually came home for a quick 48 hour visit. He just left today to go back. But he was able to see our early spring here in DC with the daffodils, crocus and forsythia in bloom and the start of the pink cherry blossoms. But most importantly, we were able to get over to the golf course this morning and he played 9 holes of golf while I took pictures for my photo class (this week's assignment - landscapes). It was a bit chilly, but it was so great to be outside and just have some fun. It was a great Easter weekend for us!
